Verizon will sell the BlackBerry Storm 2 On October 28 for $179.99

We were thingking that the blackberry storm 2 would be available at Verizon On October 21st . But today we are told that verizon will launch the storm 2 on Wednesday, just on October 28th, and sell it starting that day. Verizon Motorola Droid Vs Iphone 3G Reviews

The highly-awaited Motorola Droid is a huge sideways slider, it is expected to be announced on October 28th by Verizon as its first Android phone. The Droid phone is boasted as the iphone killer, of course, it is not unjusticed.

The device comes with a large touchscreen witha 3.7-inch WVGA display and full QWERTY keyboard, it is  It is based on a 550MHz processor, which is a slight improvement over what current Android handsets are running.. It’s 2.4 x 4.6 x .5 inches in size and weighs six ounces. That’s relatively heavy, but slim. Its color will be “licorice w/brown sugar accents.”  In addtion, the device has an unusually high-resolution, 3.7″ 480×854 touch screen; the iPhone’s touch screen is only 320×480 resolution.

Still remember the HTC Desire, another new Android phone for Verizon Except for the Motorola Droid? It is rumored to be released in November , but later we don’t get any infor about the device untill now. Today one hands-on photo for the desire is leaked. Though the image doesn’t provides more details about the phone, we see it is  similar to HTC hero for sprint, also it seems that the desire supports the luscious Sense UI. Today we get one good news for who are wondering when verizon will release the Motorola Droid, according to engadget, it is said verizon has sent out invitations to a Droid Event that will be held on October 28 (one week from now), and the verizon will unveil the most desirable phone of 2009. As the motorola logo is on the invitations, so we guess the android phone -  Motorola Droid(also named Sholes or Tao) is most probably included in the phones at the event.
