Verizon will stop selling BlackBerry Storm 2, Samsung Convoy, LG Ally, lg Vortex, lg Cosmos and Lg Fathom

It appears that Verizon is doing its best to Promote its new cell phones, such as the Motorola Droid X2 , Lg Revolution, Motorola Droid 3. Recently an anonymous tipster exposes that now Verizon is readying to delete some older phones that I think they are better and have good reviews from its lineup, these verizon mobile phones to stop being sold including: BlackBerry Storm 2, Samsung Convoy, Lg Ally, lg Vortex, Lg Cosmos and Lg Fathom, in addtion,  two Wi-Fi hotspots for verizon are also discontinued by Verizon, Respectively  ZTE Five Spot and the MiFi 2200.

Verizon blackberry Storm2 9550 Now On Sale

The Blackberry Storm 2 9550 now has been on sale via Verizon for $179.99 with two year agreemnets after $100 on-line discount as anticipated. The new verizon phones - Blackberry Storm 2 is “better” than the storm1 in terms of speed and typing but it was essentially the same device. I have to admit I wasn’t that impressed.

Verizon Blackberry Storm 2 Software Updates, Increased features and Specs

It is officially announced that verizon will sell the blackberry storm 2 sarting October 28th for $179.99 with two year agreements after $100 mail-in rebate besides for a voice plan with an Email and Web feature or an Email and Web for BlackBerry plan. The Verizon storm 2 is the successor to blackberry storm, it of course has some similarities to storm 2. While the storm 2 has big change. Verizon Blackberry Storm2 info

Firstly,  it is equipped with a smooth design and premium finish with sloped edges, chrome accents, glass lens and stainless steel backplate, in addtion in appearace.

Today verizon fianlly introduces the official release date, Specs and pricing for new verizon phones – blackberry storm 2, verizon says it will release the smartphone on October 28 for $179.99 after mail-in rebate with a new two-year contract as anticipated , also requires a voice plan with an Email and Web feature or an Email and Web for BlackBerry plan.

The  Verizon storm 2 looks good but seems ill timed with all these droid talk. However if they had launched it before word of the Droid line-up. Its nice for a BlackBerry though. Once they get their browser updated they will be a little more desirable.

According to engadget, one screen shot shows Verizon will launch the blackberry storm 2 on October 21st, and the upcoming Verizon Phones - verizon storm 2 is toutered with MiFi capability for sharing 3G internet over WiFi. Sadly, all these is not conformed by verizon or blackberry official. After so long waiting, Rim today fianlly announces the new smarphone - blackberry storm2 9550 for us. It is reported that the Vodafone UK will be offering the BlackBerry Storm2 free from £35 per month on a 24-month contract on October 26th, and verizon will also release the storm2 after Vodafone in November for about $200.
