Verizon is about to release a new software update 2.20.605.3710RD for HTC Rhyme

In addition to cut substantially the price of  HTC Rhyme, according to phonearena, Verizon is about to release a new software update for this hanset, sadly this is not the Android 4.0.3  ICS update, but it is just a mini upgrade, its version is  2.20.605.3710RD. Do not look down upon this new update, it  adds a new in-call volume control and some other more features for HTC Rhyme, including:

- “Ringtones” has been replaced with “Edit Home” when the Menu key is pressed on the homescreen.
- Updated signal strength meter to 5 bar Received Signal Strength Indication (RSSI).
- Mobile networks no longer disabled when using Power Saver.
- Device is enabled with the Wireless Alerting System.

- added new in-call volume control when the handset is placed in Dock Mode (more…)

Verizon now offering free HTC Droid Incredible 2 and HTC Rhyme untill out of stock

Today Verizon is offering the HTC Droid Incredible 2 and HTC Rhyme for free. Of course, two year agreements is  still required.

It seems that HTC Thunderbolt,DROID Incredible,HTC Rezound and HTC Rhyme for Verizon Wireless is going to get the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update soon. Because today HTC  announced several android smartphones models pre-installed android 2.3 OS will be upgraded  to Android 4.0 OS  on its facebook webpage, and the four Verizon android phones mentioned above are included in the list, in addtion, the  Raider is also added to Android 4.0 List. Verizon HTC Rhyme HTC Sync free software download

Today My mother asks me to help her to sync the contacts from her old mobile to Verizon HTC Rhyme, at first, I try to sync the contacts with the bluetooth, but I find it is so slow. Then I give this method to search other method. Fortunately, the user manual for HTC Rhyme tell me I can  synchronize Outlook contacts and calendar, Outlook Express contacts, music, Pictures & video, Bookmarks and Documents from my PC to my phone with Htc sync software, then I think of that I can transfer the contacts on my mother’s old phone, then sync it with her new device. As for the new Verizon android smartphone – HTC Rhyme, persoanlly, I think it has a super warm and nice appearance, and it is very similar to the  HTC Incredible S, but the outline corner of  the front and back of the body is more smoother.  For female users, a 4.3 inch or 4.5-inch screen is likely to be a bit too large, so HTC  Rhyme is ocked in a 3.7-inch screen with  resolution of 800 × 480 pixels, which is very suitable for female. Verizon Android phones

Verizon HTC Rhyme female phone now on sale
