Verizon Offers firmware update HTC Touch Pro

It is reported that verizon has released a fireware update for htc touch pro xv6850, the firmware version 1.08 will allow applications like Google Maps to access the handset’s GPS.  Also, the upgrad will add Visual Voicemail to the Touch Pro phone, although to activate it will cost you $3 per month. And lastly, the upgraded firmware adds EVRC-B codec support which allows for calls to be handled better on the network during high-demand situations. Verizon Htc Touch Pro info

Verizon Htc Touch Pro2 Cell phone Rolls out

The  Verizon Htc Touch Pro2 Cell phone now has rolled out in one post of Howard Forum. The leaked pictures shows that the Htc Touch Pro2 is complete with a Verizon Wireless logo. In particular, the typical red interface that characterizes most of the phones in Big Red’s lineup is missing. Sadly, there are no words on the  details , release date and price of  Touch Pro2  phone.

Tweaks For Verizon htc touch pro

Five steps to Tweak your Verizon htc touch pro phone: Verizon Phone Problems and solutions

1) you will need to install Advanced Configuration Tool on your phone.  Before you can install Advanced Config, you need to install .NetCF 3.5 which can be found here (link)

2) Once you’ve installed .NetCF 3.5, download and install Advanced Config here k[link]

3)After you have installed the program on your phone, launch the program and make the following changes:

Under the “Perfomances” category:

  • Change file system cache to 8MB
