Verizon Motorola Droid 2 software update 4.5.621 Coming soon!

Today we find that Verizon is about to push a mini software update for Motorola Droid 2, the update version is 4.5.621.A955, it will be sent out via OTA, if you are the Verizon Droid 2 users, please go to Settings -> About Phone -> System Updates whether the update has arrived at your phones. Because Verizon’s system update pages shows the update 4.5.621 is coming soon, but there is no a exact release date, therefore it maybe come out any time starting now.
Although the update doesn’t contains the Androud 4.0 ICS uograde, it fixs some bug fixes on Droid 2, such as the purchased ringtones problems. Also (more…)

Verizon releases i400.EB01 and i400.EC09 two new update for Samsung Continuum

Great news for Samsung Continuum owners, recently Verizon released two new software updates for this old smartphones. As we known, the Samsung Continuum powered by Android 2.2 OS never gets a update since it was availbale for sale at the end of 2010. Exciting! the hansets finally gets an update to Android 2.2 Froyo. No, it isn’t Android 2.3 Gingerbread, and it certainly isn’t Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, but it is an minor update, version of i400.EB01 and i400.EC09.

Verizon HTC Rhyme HTC Sync free software download

Today My mother asks me to help her to sync the contacts from her old mobile to Verizon HTC Rhyme, at first, I try to sync the contacts with the bluetooth, but I find it is so slow. Then I give this method to search other method. Fortunately, the user manual for HTC Rhyme tell me I can  synchronize Outlook contacts and calendar, Outlook Express contacts, music, Pictures & video, Bookmarks and Documents from my PC to my phone with Htc sync software, then I think of that I can transfer the contacts on my mother’s old phone, then sync it with her new device. Verizon Motorola Droid 2 Global Android 2.3 Gingerbread update finally available for download

So far  the Motorola DroidX and Droid Pro for Verizon have received the Android2.3 Bingerbread update, but the Droid2 Global hasn’t gotten the update, but  according Droid life, it is reported that the Gingerbread update  is ing to available for download for Droid 2 Global.

As we known, Motorola should release the Android 2.3 update for Droid 2 Global as supposed last month, but the update was pulled at the last minute because of an Exchange encryption issue. Now this issue has been fixed, and the update looks like it’s now finally ready to be rolled out.

The oftware update version is  4.5.608, it comes with the  Droid 2 Global android 2.3 Gingerbread update. As common, Motorola still send the update for its users via OTA. (more…)
