Verizon Motorola DEVOUR – New verizon Android Phone coming out in March

The motorola DEVOUR is a new Android phone running on Android 1.6, it will hit Verizon sometime in March. The device comes with the Sidekick Slide in design, It feels very solid also it offers MOTOBLUR, a 3.1″ capacitive touch screen, touch-sensitive track pad. and the keyboard is centered with the screen unlike the Droid. It has an optical pad on the right side which was easy to use.

Verizon officially Intros the Motorola DEVOUR

Yesterday morning Verizon and motorola officially introduced one new motorola phone for us, which is just the motorola Devour, a sideways slider with full QWERTY keyboard and a 3.1-inch, 320 x 480 pixel touch screen. It’s roughly the same size as the motorola droid, slightly thicker and about the same weight.If you have ever held a droid you would know that it feels very solid and well built. I would expect this to feel the same.

Verizon Palm Pre Plus and Pixi Plus Prices leaked out

Verizon has introduced the two updated Palm phones for us, which is just the palm pre plus and the palm pixi plus. Verizon says the two new palm devices will be available on January 25th, sadly verizon doesn’t tell us how much they will cost. While recently we hear that the pre plus will be priced at $149 after a $100 mail in rebate with 2-year contracts,and the pixi plus will cost for t a mere $99 after an undisclosed rebate amount with two year agreement. Also it is rumored that the Pixi may launch as part of Verizon Wireless’ popular BOGO promotions.

Verizon palm Pre plus and palm Pixi Plus will be on sale on Jan 25th

Now it’s official, toady Verizon and palm announces the updated version of palm pre and palm pixi that came to Sprint in later 2009, the two devices will hit verizon respectively named palm pre plus and the palm pixi plus.

There are not too many improvements on both devices, the difference between the pre and pre plus is the pre plus comes with a updated design, it is equiped with Touchstone-compatible back cover, and the navigation button are removed. In addtion, the new version of pre comes with a 16GB  internal memory, which is the original version’s twice. Other features are not changed.

Verizon Palm Pre Plus and Pixi Plus Full Specifics

Recently we get the full specifics for the two Upcoming Verizon Phones - palm pre plus and palm pixi plus from one leake Verizon document. As we known, Sprint has released the two devices in later 2009, now they are branded with new logo to come to verizon again, you may also hope they should have some improvement.  However, it seems that there are little updates with the pre plus and pixi plus. The  following is the gist of the upgrades:

  • Palm Pre Plus: 16 GB storage
  • Palm Pixi Plus: Add Wi-Fi

You may feel a little disappointed with them, but I am glad to see the physical center button gone gone. hopefully this means they made other small hardware changes to make the phone feel a bit more solid.

Verizon Htc Droid Eris also receiving an OTA update

As the Motorola Droid, the Htc Droid Eris for Verizon also reveives an system update in small batches via an over-the-air. The update brings some fixs and improvements for the verizon droid eris, including:

_ better SMS/MMS compatibility with other devices

_ the on-screen mute and speakerphone keys are improved

_ quicker call ending with two presses of the end key

_ smoother activation

_  several other minor bugs are fixed

Verizon Motorola Droid Software update rolling out soon

We had heard there would be a software update for verizon android phone - motorola Droid two days ago. But this was not official. Now it’s official, Verizon today announces it has began to send a software update for the Droid android phone over the air. The new software  AP:ESD56/BP:C_01.3E.01P update offers numerous improvements, including:

Verizon Samsung Omnia 2 Now On sale

The Samsung Omnia 2 has arrived at verizon as anticipated. Compared with its predecessor of  Samsung Omnia, it looks nicer than the omnia,  and the screen will look gorgeous on the Omnia II, as it comes with smoother design.  The omnia2 Samsung Omnia2 is a window mobile smartphone 6.5 , which is indeed a good choice for WM lovers. It i to noted that the omnia IIoffers a 5.0 MP digital camera/camcorder with Flash, oh, wonderful! I’ll choose one for my girlfriend as Christmas gift, It should be a good idea!

Official:Verizon Samsung Omnia 2 coming out On December 2 for $200

Now it’s official, today the release date for verizon samsung Omnia2 is finally confirmed by verizon, which is just on December 2. As we known, the Omnia 2 is the successor to samsung omnia, It obviously could have some improvements but not too much. It is to be noted here the device comes with a 3.7-inch WVGA AMOLED touch display that supports Swype-powered “Genius Texting.”, which allows customers to input text faster with one continuous finger or stylus motion across the software QWERTY keyboard. What’s more exciting, the samsung omnia II will run Windows Mobile 6.5 and the new TouchWiz 2.0 user interface.

Verizon Casio G’zOne Rock now on sale

The latest Casio G’zOne Rock now is on sale via verizon stores for $199.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement. as anticipated, just today, on November 20. The new Veriozn phones – Verizon G’zOne looks like a rock, obviously it is a mil-spec rugged clamshell that can withstand water, shock, dust, vibration, humidity, salt fog, solar radiation, altitude, and high and low temperature storage. Hopefully this one will be the new it rugged phone i love my original boulder but it looks worn out about now.
