Which Verizon phone is better, the Lg Ally VS740 or the Lg Fathom VS750? Persoanlly, I like the Ally VS740, compared with the Fathom VS750, as it comes with a nicer solid design, also it is designed with rounder edge, and like this feel. In addtion, the Lg Ally runs on Android 2.1, which is the current popular new OS, you know I like to try new things. Moreover, the LG Vs740 is an affordable and welcome device addition to the Android family, so it is very suitable for yong people who are at college or when they start working.

AS for the Lg fathom, it comes with many similar feaures compared with the Lg ally cell phone, 4-row QWERTY keyboard has a dedicated row of keys for numbers, includes a dedicated d-pad controller, and offers fantastic key feel. While its layout is slightly different than the keyboard used by the lg VS740, as the keys are lined-up perfectly in straight rows (instead of being offset) and the keys themselves aren’t raised as much from the surrounding plastic, thus having a flatter feel. The Fathom’s keyboard is easy to use and works well, though we did find the one on the Ally to be a bit more comfortable when typing long messages.

However, the Verizon Lg fathom come with powerful features, powered by Window mobile 6.5 and later will be upgraded to Window mobile 7 , also it offers a 8.0 Mp camera. We can see the Fathon is really a well built Windows Mobile phone with plenty of features, but its occasional lapse in performance can be annoying, also it is a liitle expensive.

The lg ally is an pretty smartphone working with Android 2.1 OS, it is also LG’s first Android phone put on sale in the U.S. market. In fact, the Ally is still is a very Aspect device, becautse it is LG’s first Android 2.1 OS equipped with intelligent phone, also has many functions for making friends, so naturally it gets many attention.

Design perspective, the LG Ally seems still more orthodox form business phone, the more rounded appearance also reflects the oriental’sdesign idea. There are four hardware shortcut button in front of this device, and as well as the return and search static two buttons, its convenient unction is absolutely sufficient.

It measures 115.8x56x15.7mm，its thickness is not thin, but the unique design allows you to take the edge of the phone but not feel very heavy, and it is a sliding QWERTY keyboard phone, so the more-thickness is understandable.

Specifically, the device carries a 3.2-inch touch screen, supporting 480×800 resolution, and has good pretty good actual performance.

The phones’s Qwerty keypad is very easy to use as it has a big key space, you will not encounter any problems when input up , but the protruding button design will slightlylet some people not adapt, but you can find all the shortcut buttons machine are very rich, and also provided a separate number buttons, we can say it is very convenient to enter text or numbers with the keyboar.

The 3.2 MP autofocus camera does not seemly attractive, but for a smart phone, the camera only has a temporary capture task, so it has not high demand for the pixels, the Focus Focus speed and accuracy are the important, and good precision the speed of Ally’s focus naturally has no problem, and its LED fill light also makes shooting in the dark with out many problems. The Lg Cosmos for Verizon is a great basic phone for the value, it does not require the data package, so if If you’re someone like me who really doesn’t need internet on their phone/doesn’t want to pay for it, then get this phone. In addtion, it is perfect to use with the unlimited message package because they have made it very accessible for that. Instant messaging and text messaging options is the first thing you see when you open the qwerty board, preloaded with Yahoo, Aim and windows live. Also has My Space and Facebook already installed also.

Moreover, I like the form factor of the lg cosmos. I think we’ve been saturated with Touch-screen centric smartphones that we have forgotten that these things are phones at heart. For a non-smart phone the form factor is really attracting me, especially with the micro-review of the keys. Only problem I find is with charging the battery. This is the second Cosmos I’ve had, replaced the first one the 3rd day I had it, same problem. The USB cable does not fit securely and you have to get it just right to get it to charge, and then you don’t dare move it till it’s done. Will probably go back to Verizon with this one, too.Overall a great phone. I got it a few days after it came out & I really like it! If you’re looking for a good phone to txt with and you don’t want the internet this is a great choice!

Overall I do enjoy having this phone, and it’s a pretty good one for the price.

Though I doesn’t buy the Samsung Reality from Verizon wireless, I have learn a lot about it. As I’m going to one for my daughter as her 15th birthday presents. Frankly, I think the Samsung Reality should be a mid-end phone with a great design. It comes with a full qwerty keypad, also has a 3.0 inch touchscreen. More praised is the Reality supports TouchWiz UI interface. I think it should be friendly to work on the Samsung Reality . Of course, it should Works quickly works exactly like the droid i had the samsung rouge and compared to the reality trust me it will not compare cause the reality works so much better.If you need a samsung thats a touch screen that is our best choice .

Sadly, there is no inferface with a Mac via the usb cable, so if you want to connect it with your Mac, you have to set up the bluetooth to the Mac then browse the phone from your computer and send files that way. This is indeed a little complicated. In addtion, I think its werty keys take some time getting used to, however, I like the setup of the hard Send and End keys. Verizon Phone Reviews

I have gotten the new Android phone- HTC Droid Incredible from Verizon wireless, so I don’t have much views on it. But engadget and BGR bring some deepth reviews for the Droid Incredible, I sum up several points, now share them here with everyone.

In design of looks, the HTC Droid Incredible is very pretty awesome, it is a delicious slab of a touchscreen plus touch sensitive keys and an optical directional pad, the same as the most HTC phones. WHile I’m definitely not a fan of the back. but I’m not feeling it. But hey, it might be targeting other people. Verizon Phone Reviews

If you throw out the subjective rating of Design which has zero impact on the functionality, this is a pretty lofty rating for a phone. I really don’t see how the EVO will raise the bar THAT much. You trade screen size for brilliance with the EVO. Beyond that, the EVO really only differentiates on niche features: mini-HDMI and mobile hotspot. Speaking of niche, the 4G ability of the EVO will appeal to only a small pct of the country being that WiMax is not widely available, not at all in some major markets like NYC. For those that are lucky to be in those select markets, 4G will be great. But if you don’t have that luxury, well the EVO is just a 3G phone and with that, the coverage map tells the story: huge advantage Incredible and Verizon.

This makes me even more excited for the HTC EVO 4G on Sprint which is getting a little more time to work out any issues. I can’t wait for the hottest phone of the first half of 2010! I’d also swap a 5 MP camera for the 8 MP if they could remove that Verizon logo. I hate seeing their branding on the top of my phone. Verizon HTC Droid Incredible info

Though I’ll still probably get it just because it is the best android phone right now. However, I’m also concerned about battery life as HTC devices aren’t known for having good power management. Especially considering the battery is the same that is used in the Eris and there are threads upon threads about horrible battery life on the Eris over at Androidforums.

I think the iPhone has the droid beat by a mile, it has a great touch screen, I type 240 wpm (I used the genius app to get it figured out) and I have had great experiences with it, it’s fun, I have it $30 a month because i have a 5 person family plan and I had a bb before.

Which verizon android phone is better, the motorola Droid or HTC Droid Eris ? After playing with both the Droid and the droid Eris at work, here are my reviews about them.

Firstly, the Eris’s design wise it is great. It feels good in your hand and I prefer the touch sensitive navigation buttons on this phone much better compared to the Droid. The screen is a little small but still looks great. The web browser is fast(not as fast as the droid) but it DO have multi touch pinch zooESm in and out gestures. On the main screen, I noticed very minimal to no lag. Granted I only used a few applications and had a couple widgets, but it was very much a smooth experience navigating through the home screens. Streaming youtube video quality was very good. Trackball is nice, very reminiscent of a blackberry and I like that!

The HTC designed keyboard is okay. It might just be screen size, but the onscreen keyboard on the Droid is easier to use for me. Obviously it does have a 5MP camera, but camera quality on this phone is not as good as the Droid(Camera quality is still good though). Finally, the Eris phones that we used has some really strange glitches in them that I hope is isolated to our store. With the first demo phone, it was very difficult to unlock the screen. It was like the screen was totally unresponsive. It got to the point that if the screen was locked, we knew we wouldn’t be able to get it unlocked for a while no matter what we did(I even tried a hard reset). On the second demo phone, everything was fine until somebody turned the “orientation” off(meaning no accelerometer feature). When we turned it back on, the accelerometer was very laggy/didnt work at all even after several soft resets(taking the battery out).

Anyways, I don’t think it is anything serious. Personally, i like the Droid a little more, but I can see the appear of the Eris with its size, features and price point. I think both phone will be huge sellers for Verizon and quite honestly, you wont go wrong with the choice you make.
