I have downloaded the LG Ally drivers from the Verizon Web site. they’re installed but I see no connection from my desktop to my Ally needed to transfer data and download media.
How do I activate the connection now that the LG Ally software is installed?

I download it, it was a bit confusing to install the driver correctly but if you did installed them properly all you do after you connect the USB wire is from home pres the sub-menu bottom, go to notification and it should b one like this “USB CONECTED/select to copy files to/from your computer” you click there and then click on the following “Mount” then you’ll be connected.
I too have now installed the software, but when I plug in my AG Ally it still brings up the standard can’t find software window. Am I missing something?
PC users don’t need drivers, if you have XP or later. Once connected to your PC via USB cable, go to your notifications, touch the “USB Connected” and select “Mount”. When you are done transferring files, go to your notifications and select “Turn Off USB Storage”.
I have win XP, sp3. I installed the drivers but the new hardware wizard says it cannot find them. So there is no connection. What should I do?

After much code decription it has been discovered that ALL the links ‘provided’ by Verizon and LG are intentionally broken to register your computers information and personal data usage refferences. I would recommend changing your services to a more reliable carrier, i unfortunately do not know of any. That doesn’t mean they don’t exist.
