Verizon Motorola DEVOUR – New verizon Android Phone coming out in March

The motorola DEVOUR is a new Android phone running on Android 1.6, it will hit Verizon sometime in March. The device comes with the Sidekick Slide in design, It feels very solid also it offers MOTOBLUR, a 3.1″ capacitive touch screen, touch-sensitive track pad. and the keyboard is centered with the screen unlike the Droid. It has an optical pad on the right side which was easy to use.

The DEVOUR looks really very nice, It is a mid-level Android phone , it suppors Google Maps with voice, and it also has a host of social networking options that will all work together. In addtion, the smartphone is euqiped with 8GB microSD card, supporting Bluetooth A2DP, HID, HSP, HFP, AVRCP and GAP, G connectivity and aGPS.

So far verizon hasn’t confimred the actual release date for the motorola DEVOUR, and doesn’t refer to its price.

Yesterday morning Verizon and motorola officially introduced one new motorola phone for us, which is just the motorola Devour, a sideways slider with full QWERTY keyboard and a 3.1-inch, 320 x 480 pixel touch screen. It’s roughly the same size as the motorola droid, slightly thicker and about the same weight.If you have ever held a droid you would know that it feels very solid and well built. I would expect this to feel the same.

As for and how much it will cost, there is no word on it, and how much it will cost, but we Long as it isn’t more than $100 with a contract, it’s all good.

Verizon Palm Pre Plus and Pixi Plus Prices leaked out

Verizon has introduced the two updated Palm phones for us, which is just the palm pre plus and the palm pixi plus. Verizon says the two new palm devices will be available on January 25th, sadly verizon doesn’t tell us how much they will cost. While recently we hear that the pre plus will be priced at $149 after a $100 mail in rebate with 2-year contracts,and the pixi plus will cost for t a mere $99 after an undisclosed rebate amount with two year agreement. Also it is rumored that the Pixi may launch as part of Verizon Wireless’ popular BOGO promotions.

The palm pre plus is a updated palm pre that has hit Sprint in later 2009, it is very similarl to its original in terms of specifications and design. Of course, the Pre Plus still has some changes, including it comes with a 16GB memory that is the double the pre, and it lacks the button on the front. Also, the pre plus will support a new application, which makes the pre plus very similar to the Novotal MiFi. I had the palm pre on sprint and i thought it was an awesome phone with that web os thingy but i had to cancel my sprint account for the lack of coverage in my area.. maybe ill get the verizon palm pre, will you?

Now it’s official, toady Verizon and palm announces the updated version of palm pre and palm pixi that came to Sprint in later 2009, the two devices will hit verizon respectively named palm pre plus and the palm pixi plus.

There are not too many improvements on both devices, the difference between the pre and pre plus is the pre plus comes with a updated design, it is equiped with Touchstone-compatible back cover, and the navigation button are removed. In addtion, the new version of pre comes with a 16GB internal memory, which is the original version’s twice. Other features are not changed.

I must say, I’m not too jealous about the PrePlus, 16gigs, I havent used up my 8. the other positive is it looks like the touch stone back will now be included with the phone. And if not, give it a few months and Sprint will have a better Pre… I have my phone for 2 years so I’m OK with waiting. Let’s hope that this revised Pre has a slider that isn’t horrible.

As the Motorola Droid, the Htc Droid Eris for Verizon also reveives an system update in small batches via an over-the-air. The update brings some fixs and improvements for the verizon droid eris, including:
