How do I reset Motorola Driod X to factory settings?

Motorola Driod X has been released by Verizon now. When you have some problems about Verizon Droid x, you can use the Factory Data Reset to reset your Driod X to factory settings. Factory Data Reset can remove everything that was imported, added or installed on the device.

WARNING: When using this feature; information you have programmed in the handset is deleted, however, nothing stored on the MicroSD will be affected.

To perform a reset factory setting on the Motorola Verizon Driod X. Please Do with the following steps :

Open the Applications Tray. (arrow pointing up located in the middle at the bottom of the display screen)
Touch Settings
Touch Privacy
Touch Factory data reset
Touch Reset Phone
Touch Erase Everything

Note: Please contact your Service provider to reset/clear your phone remotely if it is lost or stolen.

To Manually Reset your handset through external key sequence, please contact your service provider or Motorola customer service.

How to Download and Install the Droid x PC Charging Driver

Download and Install the Motorola Droid x PC Charging Driver

1. Click the Motorola Droid x PC Charging Driver link for your phone to download the PC charging driver.
Note: Please note the driver download location. It will be needed in Step 7.

2. Connect your phone to your computer using the USB cable.
Note: Your phone must be powered ON.

3. Select NO when phone displays “Connect phone as a storage device?”

4. Windows will prompt it found new hardware and will recognize the phone.
Note: The W230 is used in this example.

5. The Found New Hardware wizard will launch.

6. Select “Install from list or specific location (Advanced)” and click Next.

7. Browse to the driver location noted from Step 1 and click Next.

The wizard will install the driver.

8. A successful driver installation screen will be displayed.

9. Your phone can now charge via the computer’s USB port.

There are a few handy hints about Verizon Droid .

Motorola Droid General tips :

To return to home screen, touch Home.
To see recently dialed numbers, touch Phone > Call log
To sleep/wake your phone, press Power.
To set screen timeout, touch Menu > Settings > Screen timeout
> Sound & display.
To search, touch Search.
To show last few apps, touch and hold Home.
To turn sound on/off, press and hold Power > Silentmode
To turn airplane mode on/off, press and hold Power > Airplane mode
To go to the top of a list, press and hold Alternate > Scroll up.
To go to the bottom of al list, press and hold Alternate > Scroll down.

Motorola Droid Battery tips:

To turn off automatic applications sync, touch Menu > Accounts&sync > Settings

Verizon Motorola Droid 2 Live Photos

Recently Droid Life brings some live photos for the Motorola Droid 2 for Verizon, though it has been confirmed by official, it is sorta. From the leaked pictures we notice that the Droid 2 has more or less similarity with the orignal Motorola Droid, while it comes with some update and change in design of keypad, also the Droid 2 has more rounded edges. In addtion, it gives up the 8 MP camera instead of 5.0 MP camera, a little improvement on the Processor, from 600 mhz to 750 mhz.

Upcoming Verizon Phones – Verizon Motorola Droid 2 cell phone photos:

As we known, two week ago the Motorola Droid 2 was exposed with Motorola A955 model, however, the new pictures are not clearly visible.

Fotunately, we learn that the Droid 2 A955 brings Android 2.1 OS , 3.7 inch touch screen, 750MHz of OMAP processors. Also it supports Wi-F, 8GB SD card and 8 GB internal memory, 5.0 MP camera and a QWERTY keyboard. The lanuch date and prices are unknown now. But we’ll update for you in time, please stay stuned!

Verizon’s V CAST Video App now is availbale on Android Lineup

Yesterday verizon had announced it will apply the V CAST Video App on its Android phone Lineup staring this Monday afternoon, just today together with one newly developed app that will stream content from its partners. Now Verizon’s android phone owners, including Motorola Droid, HTC Droid Eris, HTC Droid Incredible, Lg Ally, you should open your Android devices to check that whether the V CAST Video App and the new app now is availbale. Through the app, we can watch the 2010 Soccer World Cup in South Africa on our Verizon Adnroid phones.

You can download the application for free , but you have to pay an additional $10 monthly cost for the service.
