How to set your own music song as a custom ringtone on Verizon Droid Incredible 2

You can choose a music song from the Music app’s Library and set it as your phone’s ringtone(incoming calls ringtone, message ringtones and so on) or a ringtone for a certain contact on Verizon Droid Incredible 2, just follow the steps below:

  1. From the Home screen tap Settings > Sound > Phone ringtone. Tap the ring tone you want to use on the list, and then tap Apply. Verizon HTC Droid Incredible 2 info
  2. You can also use a music file as a ringtone if you have music on your SD Card[click here to learn how to load music from PC to verizon incredible 2].  Tap All Apps > Music > select the song you want to set as a ringtone > press Menu > More > Set as ringtone. You can set the music file as a Phone ringtone or Contact ringtone or you can select Trim the ringtone. Verizon Phone Problems and solutions
  3. To set a specific ringtone for a contact, Tap All Apps > People > tap the contact you want to set a ringtone for > Tap the ringtone you would like > Tap OK

I have tried the method above on my Droid Incredible 2 phone, It works perfectly. Enjoy!
