I receive work emails on my phone. I am not able to get a notification sound when I receive an email (I do get one when I get a text). I have gone to Email settings/Notifications/select ringtone-bells and still nothing. (vibrate is not picked). Any suggestions?

How can a get a real paper manual. I dont carry my computer around with me. It is very frustrationg not to be able to use my phone. Most of your directions are brief at best. You assume your users have a basic knowledge. You shouldn’t assume. I can’t be the only person who is lost. If you want good word of mouth, not bad, you need a complete and through manual (paper). i have a droidX.

I purchased a Droid X and I’m learning that if I want tpo upgrade my phone such an extended battery pack you must know what cases are available that will fit. Well I already purchased a case from best buy (Pt)and the case(the shell) will not close all the way when the extended battery is placed into the phone.
My question is can you give me a list of everything the phone will accept or I should say be compatible with after purchasing an extended life battery, so one will not have to fumble through purchasing items one likes for it’s phone. I have already purchased the bundle pack, a Pt carrying case (which does not accomodate a extended battery pack). Thank you

I have ask verizon for a manual for my DroidX phone more than once and have been told ok, but never get one.

To find networks in your range:
1 Press Menu > Settings > Wireless &
networks > Wi-Fi settings.
2 Touch Wi-Fi to turn on and scan. If Wi-Fi is already

networks it finds within range.

3 Touch a network to connect.
4 If necessary, enter Network SSID, Security, and
Wireless password, and touch Connect. When
your phone is connected to the network, the
wireless indicator appears in the status bar.
Tip: When you are in range and Wi-Fi is on, you will
automatically reconnect to available networks you’ve
connected to before.
I just did a update on my droid phone and lost my calender section, with the new upload, there is no calender or at least I cannot find it. HELP where is the calender now
Have you installed it?
Do you copy the calender when you get the update? If you not, use the system app remover tool to connect it wil another droid x phone to backup the software, then copy the data and installe it on your phone.
I am trying to learn how to use my new Motorola Droid X. Two things are holding me back right now.
1. how do I clear the screen when I accidentally activate some function I don’t want?
2. When I dial a number and then need to enter an extension after connection, I touching the “dialer” to get a key pad and then I enter the number. But the phones on the other end to not sense the number. Is there some kind of send button I need to use or should I use some other way to enter the extension?
Please help me I dont have internet access here at the Veterans Hospital where I am having 2 more surgeries from injuries….Please help me out and mail me a manual……
