We had heard there would be a software update for verizon android phone - motorola Droid two days ago. But this was not official. Now it’s official, Verizon today announces it has began to send a software update for the Droid android phone over the air. The new software AP:ESD56/BP:C_01.3E.01P update offers numerous improvements, including:

The Samsung Omnia 2 has arrived at verizon as anticipated. Compared with its predecessor of Samsung Omnia, it looks nicer than the omnia, and the screen will look gorgeous on the Omnia II, as it comes with smoother design. The omnia2 Samsung Omnia2 is a window mobile smartphone 6.5 , which is indeed a good choice for WM lovers. It i to noted that the omnia IIoffers a 5.0 MP digital camera/camcorder with Flash, oh, wonderful! I’ll choose one for my girlfriend as Christmas gift, It should be a good idea!
Now it’s official, today the release date for verizon samsung Omnia2 is finally confirmed by verizon, which is just on December 2. As we known, the Omnia 2 is the successor to samsung omnia, It obviously could have some improvements but not too much. It is to be noted here the device comes with a 3.7-inch WVGA AMOLED touch display that supports Swype-powered “Genius Texting.”, which allows customers to input text faster with one continuous finger or stylus motion across the software QWERTY keyboard. What’s more exciting, the samsung omnia II will run Windows Mobile 6.5 and the new TouchWiz 2.0 user interface.

The latest Casio G’zOne Rock now is on sale via verizon stores for $199.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement. as anticipated, just today, on November 20. The new Veriozn phones – Verizon G’zOne looks like a rock, obviously it is a mil-spec rugged clamshell that can withstand water, shock, dust, vibration, humidity, salt fog, solar radiation, altitude, and high and low temperature storage. Hopefully this one will be the new it rugged phone i love my original boulder but it looks worn out about now.
FCC recently has approved one android phone named Saygus VPhone V1, and it is rumored the VPhone V1 may be heading to verizon as its third android phone( the previous two models - Motorola droid and htc droid Eris have been on sale now). Of course we guess is not without any groundless, besides knowing the device wiht EVDO Rev A , we also learn that it is confirmed on Saygus’ own website as the first android phone to be approved via Verizon’s own Open Development Program.

The Casio G’zOne Brigade is it is a sideways clamshell, also another new rugged push to talk phone like the Samsung convoy coming to Verizon soon. The Brigade will comes with a numeric keypad on the front and a full QWERTY keyboard inside with larger display. What ever happened to the G’zone Rock the FCC had info on back in July. I am guessing (by the drawings) it was an improved version of the Boulder.

The release date, Specs and Price for verizon CDMA version of Blackberry Curve 8530 now are official. We are told Verizon will release the Curve 8530 on November 20th for $99.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement on a voice plan with an Email and Web feature or an Email and Web for BlackBerry plan.

Yesterday Verizon officially introduced the BlackBerry Curve 8530 (also named blackberry curve 2) for us. As we known, the slim smartphone is the CDMA version of T-Mobile’s BlackBerry 8520, It comes with full-QWERTY keypad, optical trackpad, 2 megapixel camera, GPS, dedicated multimedia keys, 3.5mm headphone jack, 256MB of app memory, 528MHz processor, EV-DO connectivity and last but not least, Wi-Fi!

The Samsung Convoy is a ruggedized Push to Talk device, today it has just been introudced by Verizon and Samsung, and according to the announcement, verizon will release the convoy on November 15th for $49.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement with Verizon Wireless. The New Veriozn phones- Verizon Convoy has a chamshell design, and comes with military specifications built to withstand the harshest of elements. It can withstand shock and dust resistance, vibration, salt fog, humidity, solar radiation, altitude and low and high temperatures.
