Confirmed: Verizon Samsung Nexus Prime will be officially launched on October 19 in

Today Samsung and Google announe the press release scheduled last week but  postponed for Jobs’s death reaso will be held on October 19 in Hong Kong. According to the nvitation sent out by Samsung and Google released,  it is showns that Google will launch the next generation of Android system Ice Cream Sandwich, Samsung will launch the next generation Nexus smartphone – Nexus Prime(it is rumored the final name maybe  “Nexus Prime” or “Galaxy Nexus“) in the new conference. Verizon Motorola Droid 2 Global Android 2.3 Gingerbread update finally available for download

So far  the Motorola DroidX and Droid Pro for Verizon have received the Android2.3 Bingerbread update, but the Droid2 Global hasn’t gotten the update, but  according Droid life, it is reported that the Gingerbread update  is ing to available for download for Droid 2 Global.

As we known, Motorola should release the Android 2.3 update for Droid 2 Global as supposed last month, but the update was pulled at the last minute because of an Exchange encryption issue. Now this issue has been fixed, and the update looks like it’s now finally ready to be rolled out.

Amazon now offering all Verizon Phones for $0.01 untill Oct.17

Therefore, if you are interested in some phone for Verizon, now grasp it from Amazon .

Verizon finally release the Android 2.3 Bingerbread update for Motorola Droid Pro

As we known, the Motorola Droid Pro for Verizon should get the Bingerbread update  this Summer as scheduled, unfortunately,  rencently Verizon just released  the android 2.3 update for Droid pro after so long time’s wait.

This software update for motorola Droid Pro is 4.6.8.XT610, it is still sent out Via the OTA.  Obviously, the 4.6.8 update for Droid Pro not only feature the Gingerbread OS, but also it bring some improvements for Droid Pro, including  improved battery life, the GPS will no longer cause the Droid Pro to reset, and several tweaks to SMS. Samsung Stratosphere is another new 4G LTE smartphone for Verizon, it is a sliding slider with  a touch screen and a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, the overall design of body is rounded and nice,personally, I like it, especially the Physical keyboard idea. Also Samsung Stratosphere is a solid entry, it is very similar to the Sprint Samsung Epic 4G at the first glance, Identical design and specs.  Even Identical keyboard layout. However, the Stratosphere has better performace and lower price compared to the Epic 4G.

Verizon delays to release the Samsung Nexus Prime untill on November 3

Frustrating! The lanuch date of Samsung Nexus Prime scheduled on October 11 was delayed to October 2th due to Jobs sudden death, but this time the date conflics with Nokia NOKIA WORLD‘s, recently Samsung officially said that they would’t release the Nexus Prime on Oct. 27, the lanuch date and release date for Verizon Nexus Prime became a mystery. Fortunately, accoridng to  Phandroid, it is exposed that the Verizon may delay to release the Nexus Prime untill November 3. Please note it’s released, not lanuched. It is soon, although this date is still not confirmed by the offical, while it is received a tip from “a trustworthy insider”, we are still happy to hear this, beacuse we have a something to look forward at least.
