3 methods to tell you how to transfer music from Laptop to your lg versa verizon wireless. Verizon lg versa phone info

1)  Use Vcast with Rhapsody as a client and load your existing music collection into Rhapsody then do transfer via USB

2) Remove your micro SD and insert it into the larger SD adapter (if you bought your mem card at Verizon , they come with them) and right into your card reader on the computer. Then explore the card through My Computer and drag and drop your mp3 files into the My Music folder. Make sure you do not use sub folders in the My Music folder or else your phone will not read the music properly. Just dump all the songs in that same folder, regardless of what artist or type.

3) Activate Mass Storage mode on your lg Versa cell phone by going to Menu>Settings and Tools>and there will be either Mass Storage mode or USB Auto Sync. You want to change that to Data and then you can load files into it just like in option. Verizon Phone Problems and solutions

Method #1 is the one that should work best for syncing music. However, I’ve been having a REALLY hard time getting the phone to be consistently recognized by my laptop in this way. Last night the phone would freeze 100% of the time when I tried to sync through Rhapsody, and the only way to un-freeze it is to take the battery out. I suppose this is part of why there are other suggestions that involve bypassing the phone and syncing right to the memory card. But, from the perspective of someone who wanted to replace an old Moto phone + old iPod with a new phone that included a music player, the music player experience is awful compared to my old iPod.

I had the hardest time using method 3 to connect direct via usb. I eventually got it, by setting it to data as shown above, but also going to Settings & Tools>Tools>USB Mass Storage. This seemed to be what initiated the sync and then showed up as a drive and allowed me to xfer files.
