Verizon announces Mobile Games and Apps Store

Verizon wireless announces the Mobile Games and Apps Store at CTIA  2009.  It means that customers with Get It Now-capable phones are now able to click through
to the hundreds of games and applications directly from Mobile Web. The new Mobile Web Games and Apps Store uses graphics, an
easy-to-navigate menu, and keyword search to guide customers to the
wide variety of titles and tools.

If  though It seems that verizon’s Get-it-Now service is somewhat outdated, but it  is a real boon to customer. For example, if you want to select a game, such as “Tetris” and “Guitar Hero World Tour,” you can then preview and sample it before purchasing. Whie it is not free forever, unless you have the $15/month VCast Pack you will be charged $1.99 per MB for any game that is downloaded.
