Verizon BlackBerry phones Firmware update – BlackBerry OS 5.0 Download

Rim should has release a new firmware update -BlackBerry OS 5.0 for the current blackberry phones last sunday , including verizon‘s blackberry Pearl Flip 8220/8230, Curve 8330/8350i/8900, Storm 9500/9530 and Tour 9630.

This particular upgrade will resolve a lot of the current issues plaguing the Storm, such as:

• Improved browser
• Flick scrolling
• Threaded texting
• Loads apps faster

Sadly, the upgrade will not be available OTA. It will need to be done via the computer.

There are Three  places to find the OS 5.0 download:

1. Go to www.BlackBerry.com/storm/updates and download; then load from computer into your Storm

2. Wait until Desktop Manager notifies you of an update and it will do it for you

3. Directly Go here to Download it Verizon.com
