The Brigade will comes with a numeric keypad on the front and a full QWERTY keyboard inside with larger display. What ever happened to the G’zone Rock the FCC had info on back in July. I am guessing (by the drawings) it was an improved version of the Boulder.

In addtion, the G’zOne Brigade also features push-to-talk capabilities in addition to having a 3 megapixel, camera with flash, microSD card support, 2.5mm headset jack, dedicated music and messaging keys, Bluetooth and 3G for data. Sadly, verizon doesn’t offer the release date and price for the Brigade, but verizon said it will be on sale in time for the holidays.

Any news on this phone? It doesn’t look like anyone has heard anything about it since November 5th. Which holiday were they talking about it being available for? Arbor day?

Yeah some of them posts were by me. Trying to get some solid info on it anyone with any info please post THANK YOU. There are many people interested in this phone, enough I belive that they cant really abandon it. I would say its coming out but when? Another thing there seems to be alot of secrecy im noticing when asking verizon officals about this phone or any phone for that matter that hasent been released yet.
I was hoping to get it by January 20th, but there hasn’t been any news about this since November- what’s up with that?
All sources point to sometime in the latter half of February. The new rebate forms drop on the 16th and it has the Brigade posted squarely under its non-qwerty pad having brother, the Rock, with the same $50 MIR tag attached.
Looks like someone has a casio brigade for sale on ebay now.
im hearing from phone arena and verizon reps that this phone is due out in march probably late march of this year
This phone will be for sale on March 11. The manager quietly brought it out to me when it became apparent that it would be the only thing that satisfy my requirements. It was their evaluation phone that they were using to become familiar with it. Seems pretty rugged indeed. I was a little disappointed with the front display which seems to be almost unusable. The manager stated that the retail would be $299. Im not sure if that is the new contract price or not.
it should be out march 11 not sure the price but im gettin this phone, been waiting since december when my envy 3 broke. and now i have to use my GF sis phone. i need a good durable phone like this, all my phones snap in half. i get rough with phones.

I am disappointed in the Brigade. I purchased it in June. The calendar repeat option does not work. I took it back to the Verizon store and they said it must be a bad phone so they exchanged it for a new one. The problem still exists. About a month ago I received a notification of an upgrade. I did the upgrade and now when ever I receive a media message (Picture or Video) I continue to get a notice beep that I have an unopened message. I can open it and delete it but the beeps continue until I turn off the cell phone and then turn it back on. This is very annoying so I contacted Verizon and was told the update was corrupt and the technician walked me through a reboot and reset of my phone software. I lost ringtones and phone personalization like speed dials. I am not going to call again because I do not want to spend more time on this problem. I am very disappointed but I am stuck with this problem.
