The Verizon HTC Eris looks same as the Sprint Hero , but for some reason it seems faster, slightly thinner and taller. In addtion, Comparing it with Verizon’s another upcoming Android phone - Motorola Droid, I think the HTC is a better looking device compared to the Droid and would have preferred the Eris. Also its price is cheaper and it doesn’t have a slider keyboard. Now that it is upgradeable to Android 2.0, it makes it a better buy in my opinion. Plus the hardware looks better.
We have learnt that the Eris will has a 528MHz Qualcomm CPU, and while it won’t run on Android 2.0.
