Verizon HTC Droid Eris Upcoming On November 6 for $99, running Android 1.5

Recently one leaked Docs shows that verizon will lanuch the HTC Droid Eris on November 6th  as we previously heard,  it willcost $199 but with a $100 mail-in rebate. Also we learn that the Droid Eris will  run Android 1.5 like the Motorola Droid, and will also feature feature Sense UI, 3.2-inch screen, 528MHz processor and so forth. In addtion, the Eris will pack in an 8GB microSD cardit.

I have a feeling that this device will be the better of the two Android devices for Verizon. I really Luke the look of this device. I like the fact that it doesn’t have a physical keyboard and the Sense UI is remarkable. Also, you can’t beat the price. For $99 you can’t buy a better phone unless you get the iPhone 3G. If I were on Verizon and waiting for a new device to buy, I would get this one over the Droid. I heard that the device will be eligible for the Android 2.0 upgrade. That would make it an even better buy. Verizon finally has a great device to sell.
