Subscribe Feed (RSS)Now it’s official, toady Verizon and palm announces the updated version of palm pre and palm pixi that came to Sprint in later 2009, the two devices will hit verizon respectively named palm pre plus and the palm pixi plus.
There are not too many improvements on both devices, the difference between the pre and pre plus is the pre plus comes with a updated design, it is equiped with Touchstone-compatible back cover, and the navigation button are removed. In addtion, the new version of pre comes with a 16GB internal memory, which is the original version’s twice. Other features are not changed.

As for the pixi pre, it has more update. Firstly it supports Wi-Fi, but the palm pixi for sprint misses this function. It is alos reported that the pixi plus will havemore back covers, exciting, if so we’ll have more choices.
Moreover, there will be a new application pre-installed on Both updated palm phones, which makes the two handsets look very like the Novotal MiFi.
