I was looking at some of the comments about the battery because i was looking for a phone like this for my birthday, about 3 weeks away, my question is Would you require this phone for someone else?

I have Env touch and my problem is it shut down one day and the screen says Battery required I have had the phone for 2 years and since the battery wouldn't hold much of a charge I just thought I needed a new battery, so I bought one but I still have the problem. Not all of my pics are saved to my card and all my numbers are in it. I could care less if I get the phone to work properly just enough to get those things out of it. Anyone know of anything I can try or do? I am no longer a verizon customer I am using page plus but I was able to use that phone on the plan so I don't know if verizon would even help me.

I have had one since Feb. this year with the phone freeing, screen going out and shutting off, After several months of Verizon telling me do this and do that, they replaced it last month. 2 weeks later or thereabouts, the same darn thing. Replaced it and 2 days later the same thing, They finally thought the battery was the common denominator and sent me a new one, and low and behold it is doing the same darn thing again. I like the phone, I just want the darn thing to work.

I have a new EnV3 Touch (less than 30 days old) and am having similar problems with the battery. The same day I fully charged the battery I made one 11 minute call and opened the web brower for a few minutes to change the home page. The battery dropped to 3 bars. I rarely use my phone and don't get more than one day stand by time at the most. This is ridiculous because I chose this phone because it advertised 300+ hours of standby time. I am going to ask for a new battery or a new phone.

I'm having similar issues. Got my phone about 2 months ago. Originally got about 7 days of standby with periodic use. Then, overnight, it switched to maybe 5 hours of standby with no use at all. I'm going to ask Verizon for a new battery. If they won't give me one, I'll have my old phone reactivated and put this one away.
