I replaced my phone twice mostly because I always heard my voice echo in my ear. If there is a little wind i cannot hear anything. Settings always reset. I think that was a way for them to mess with people. Pocket dialing is a huge problem. In fact, I took my phone from my pocket and it was self composing a text that said something like, “gonnadie.cmoncmoncmonjmmmmm”. that is not a joke. anyone else have anything else like that?
i bought an env touch off of craigslist. it worked perfectly for a while. then it started like pressing buttons on its own. the touch screen hardly works cause it just presses random buttons on its own and it makes it scroll by itself. even if im not even touching it. and when i open it it does the same thing.so its not just the touch screen.. idk what to do cause i dont have a warranty. helpp!
I have replace my ENV TOUCH PHONE 6 TIMES WITHIN A YEAR. Either my screen goes white or stays black where I cannot see anything to use the dial pad. I have been with verizon for years and all they can do is send a replacement phone that has the same problems that I am already replacing. All I want verizon to do is send me a new phone, maybe the problem will go away, MOST LIKELY NOT, JUST HOPING. I purchase my phone before they were charging the 9.99 monthly fee FOR THE DATA PLAN, so I am exempt from that fee. What Verizon what me to do is buy another multimedia phone at 9.99 a month SO THEY CAN CHARGE ME FOR THE FEE WITHOUT WAIVING IT, or get a lower grade phone that does not provide the features (touch screen)that I am us to and pick up a new contract to boot.
I am very disappointed with Verizon and thinking about switching service. I really like Verizon but hate the way they treat their customers.
As much problems that I had with this phone you would think they would be jumping to send a new phone without trying to rob their customers to pay for more service than they use.
I have the env TOUCH through Verizon. 1st issue was that the settings kept changing on their own. I took it into a local store (if more than one in your area, call and ask which location would be best). There are several in our area, but 1 deals with almost all of the “phone issues”.
Basically what I was told is that I had an old “software version”, take it in and have it updated (@ no cost, but it took about 45 minutes).
NOW it turns itself off if there is the slightest pressure to the “off” button on the front of the phone. When talking to someone, if I even touch the side of the phone where that button is I’m rambling on to dead air. It’s a pain to have to power it back up and then re-call the person, especially if it is a business.
I know someone that works with the company (customer service), I’ve been told that quite a few people that work there have this same phone and just hate the thing. The complaints are many. With all the issues I’ve heard, it really should be recalled.
Thankfully in 10 months I’ll be eligible for a new phone, hopefully my patience will last that long!
I’ve had to replace my env touch replaced beacuse for no reason the phone shuts off while on my holster and recently I’ve had my phone shutoff on me while I’m on the phone. WTF….
i got the env touch for my 15th birthday it was the only thing i wantd and i got it. but for about a month in with this fone it started to glitch/pocket dial/ turn off and reset itself i wasnt really bothered by it that much so i ignored it but recently it has had problems with charging it and today what happened is that it keeps freezing like i turn the phone on for like 20 seconds and it just stays frozen i have to take the battery out just to turn it off and idk what to do cause i have a warranty but i dropped the phone so the inside text screen has a crack in it so they wont take it if anyone can help me please HELP!!
Mine (which I bought 3 hours ago) Likes to turn its self off, & not get my text or calls, I had one before , (it went swimming) & I just got it replaced, If your thinking about getting this devil with a touch screen, Don’t. Just fucking don’t do it.
DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE! I’ve had it for about a year. Receiving and sending texts are both delayed, phone turns off randomly by itself, photos are blurry, text messages aren’t always displayed in order, and settings randomly change back to default mode. Features aren’t as nice in person as they are when advertised. This phone is NOT worth the trouble.
Does Verizon read these posts and just not care? I seem to have the opposite problem from what many have posted. My phone turns on by itself. I have the lock on and sitting on my desk or table, it will turn itself on.
Does Verizon read these posts and just not care? I seem to have the opposite problem from what many have posted. My phone turns on by itself. I have the lock on and sitting on my desk or table, it will turn itself on and will eventually turn itself off. It will do this all day and night. As a result, my battery charge does not last long. This is my second phone. First one did the same thing and returned it, so it is not the phone. Anyone else with this problem?
