Actually, this problem is simple, obviously the env3 is better than its predecessor of lg env2, but it is more expensive than env2. But no doubt the env3 is worth the extra money, it much better than the EnV2.

The env2 is a little nasty and ugly, its small screen on the front can get annoying and the screen on the inside is a little bit smaller than the one on the env3, and the env3 has a full D-pad on the front, but the env2 does not. In addtion, the env3 has bigger screens, and easier texting, and calling features (at the push of a button you can have your top 10 contacts of your choice), and an easy text messaging button. It is slightly taller. I say go with the env3 its prob the best choice if you’re looking for a qwerty device its prob what u would want!!!!! and works VERY well! Verizon Phone Reviews

the enV 3 is good. but not the best, it will be a very good phone but only if you get it when it becomes older later in the year, i got the phone like a week after it came out, and alot of things started to go wrong with it. so i would say to get the phone, just wait a little while.
horrible phone. worked alright wen I first got it in January. Since then, it’ll shut off in the middle of (long) texts, turn off all by itself even after having 2 buttons unlock it, sometimes the front screen will freeze so when i open it, it’s blank on the inside. only buy if you enjoy getting mad at your phone.
I want to get this phone as my first. Good idea?
I upgraded to the env3 from my Nokia 6205 and I love it! I love the fact that I can read the text without opening the phone, and I can choose between T9 or qwerty to text. The contacts button is really nice and I love the new text button on the inside.
It comes with free Visual Voicemail which is such a time saver. I don’t have to listen to all of my messages, I can choose which one. Also, it tells you the number the message came from.
I’ve been looking forward to upgrading to this phone for so long, and I have not been disappointed. I have the LG eV3 Maroon, and love it!
Ok io have the Env3 maroon and i love it. It does not freeze and turn off by it self. Well hopefully it never start doing it. If you wanna a phone get the env3. Good luck

does the env2 shut off more than the env3?
worked fine when i first got it, then it started messing up from there, i thought i would loce the phone, ive alwasy wanted it since it came out, the battery on my phone last from idk 4-12 hours dependeing on usage, phone calls sound good, but battery instantly die after 30 secs to a min and half depending on battery before hand, i sincerly suggest you do more research on this phone before you get it, if not just buy a second battery for backup
