One lg versa user’s Problem: Does anyone know how to enlarge the touch QWERTY keyboard? I am having some trouble texting with it. For example, I will press a letter and it will either not recognize which one I pressed or it will just type the wrong one. Anyone else having this problem?

My Verizon Versa is the worst phone I’ve ever had. I hate it!!! Here are the problems I have:
1) From the 1st day I got it, it would turn off without my knowing, while in my top shirt pocket, even though it’s locked.
2) The keyboard for texting is only accurate if you have fingers the size of a baby doll.
3) I work for the police, patrolling the bays and bayous near Lafitte, La. on the BP Oil Spill. Even though Verizon installed a new temporary tower in Lafitte, I am still the only person I’ve met out there whose phone doesn’t work at all from the jack-up boat we are based on. There are some who can’t always get or make a phone call, but at least they can a text to go through. I’ve tried numerous times going to the very top of the jack-up boat (approx. 50 ft. high) and still can’t get a call or text through.
4) Lately, I have to try over and over again to place a call because no matter what button or area I touch, the inbox of texts is the only thing that comes up. I’ve turned it off then on to try and reset it but it only sporadically works.
I DO NOT treat my phone roughly. In fact, I baby it more than any phone I’ve ever had.
Im having the exact same problem when i touch the screen and the only thing that opens is my text inbox
Ive had my versa since december and not even a year later ive had 4 replacement phones and now half my screen went out and verizons saying its my fault.
to fix it you just have to tap the screen a little harder and it starts working again thats what i did!
I am in exactly the same boat, almost verbatim!
The only difference is I do not work for the police, but on the top floors of some of our university buildings, I can’t call, text, and my phone shuts down of its own accord.
This phone is turning out to be the bane of my existence.
