I love lg versa’s cute without the keyboard, but then it is hard for me to use the on screen qwerty because the keys are so small and I have semi-sausage fingers. Also, the Touch has an on screen qwerty on the front touch screen and the keys are much larger and I am able to use them quite well if I’m feeling too lazy to open my phone.
In addtion, I felt the touch screen is much more responsive on the Versa, and the interface was much smoother. Not to say the Touch’s interface is bad, but just not as smooth in places. And I’m not a huge fan of either of the Display Theme’s on the Touch.

However, disappointly, the Versa only had a 2 MP camera, but the env Touch comes with it’s 3.2MP . So if you like to take a photo with your phone, then the env touch is a good choice. Verizon Phone Reviews

the env touch is better than the versa because if u do not already have the versa then u dont know that the keyboard is not the easiest thing to put on and if you need to text quickly its not easy to take it out of your pocket put it on then start texting, then when you have it on there is no more touch screen which stinks. WIth the Env Touch you can text by simply opening the phone and then when you wanna use the touch screen u just flip again besides the env touch has wayy better features like drawing and free game demos like need for speed and resident evil which is great the only thing that th versa is better is that it has beter battery life

I’ve compared the Versa with the enV Touch.
I gotta say that while the keyboard can be difficult to put on at first, it gets easier with a bit of practice. Besides that, how often do you need to take it off? It acts as a good screen protector and will be replaceable in the near future if your keyboard gets worn out. I’ve only needed to take it off once because I was wearing dress pants for a wedding and didn’t want it to bulge out of my pocket. That’s definitely something that you can’t do with the enV Touch.
If you go in to the Versa’s Main Menu, Settings & Tools, Phone Settings and select “Set Qwerty Shortcut” and toggle it to TXT Message, you can easily take the phone out of your pocket and start texting without going into “New Msg”, just like the enV Touch.
The interface does seem a good bit smoother and faster on the Versa than the enV Touch, and I do like that you can use the touchscreen while texting or online. It makes things way easier when navigating pages. The Versa also comes with demo games and drawing, along with a stylus so you don’t scratch up your screen with a pen or fingenail.
The only real advantage that I can see that the enV Touch has over the Versa is the camera. The enV Touch does come equipped with a 3.2 MP camera whereas the Versa has a 2.0, and the enV Touch’s shutter response time is a good bit faster (1/2 – 1 second faster than the Versa!) All this being said, I didn’t get my phone for the camera. If I wanted a camera, I would have gotten a camera, not a phone with a dismal camera attached.
The enV has built a huge following over the years that will stick with it until the very end. I’ve got nothing against that. They’re good phones’ just not for me. Between the enV Touch and the Versa, I’d go with the Versa hands down because it can do all the same things as the enV Touch and more, except it’s a bit lacking in the camera department.

hey… i had the env touch i hav to say it was the best phone iv ever had for everything (touch screen, keyboard,…) i was stuped still b,n in my 30days and returned it for the bb storm i like the idea it has but i hate how lagy it is and how it can b anoying to tx because u alway have to press it to type it … sometimes if ur a consitant tx,er and u go fast u make a lot of mistakes because of it i use to use the touchscreen keyboard on the env and that was great just as good as the regular 1 ….. if u like the versa think about this …. if u want to use just the phone (not the keyboard) to play with and the keyboard is on its super wided and doesnt fit right in the hand i use my friends all the time it is great for txing but if u r a person to play with the phone and use all the feature and r txing @ the same time the keyboard gets in the way like i said b4 and taking it on and off gets anoying !!! and to have to carry both the keyboard the phone and the regular back door is a pain … i swich with my friend for a day so we could see if we like each others phones he fell in love with my since the keyboard is out of the way and is always ther well i wish i had mine back all that day 2 days later he bought the env (lol) and the env has alot of feature like a drawing board (how i made my b ground) u can costomize pics with borders smillys all sort of things i am so getting that phone back when my 2 years end next month !!!!!! it is better than a blackberry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! trust me
i love the versa. i just got it yesterday and im having so much fun with it … my friend joanna has the envtouch and it sucks. she says its really retarded.

i just bought the LG versa saturday and im getting it delieverd to my house tuesday. (2mm) and im so excited. the whole reason i got a new phone was cuz my old one fell in the toilet, it still worked but the front screen was all white and it was annoying. plus the vibrate mode wore off about 5 months ago.
