    Cannot install drivers on a win xp machine.
    Get “An error occured during the installation of the device.
    The specified service oes ot exist oas an istalled device.”

    Any suggestions. Running Win XP Professional SP3

    Tried downloading new driver without success on install.

    every time i connect my droid x to my computer my computer recognizes a new device but does not know what the device is and my droid recognizes the usb connection but does not give me the option to mount it will ask me if i want to put it in pc mode, windows media sync, usb mass storage, and charge only i don’t know what to do please tell me if there is something i need to install on my computer or what.
