this phone is truely great. it has great reception thats better than my old phones reception.its ideal for first time texters with a keyboard, like me.i couldnt ask for a better phone! GO MOTOROLA RIVAL!!!!!
i HATE this phone never ever ever get it. i got this phone in january and in that time ihave had 5 replacement phones. they are all referbished and do the exactly same thing. the phone will shut off when i try to reply to a text message. the touch screen pushes buttons you dont even touch. this phone sucks and i have heard from many people that there rival does the same thing. NEVER GET THIS PHONE!!!!!
it sucks the screen goes black or white after a while and sometimes fone wont turn on no matter how much u charge it this fone sucks dont buy it seriously
I have to say I bought the phone because purple is my favorite color. I’ve had great cell reception AND great customer service with all issues I’ve had, but its too much grief for one phone. I’ve had 4 replacements and I’m taking it back today for the same reason. The phone spontaneously shuts off when I’m trying to reply to a text message and the touch screen menu pops up rapidly and repeatedly — I guess from touching the back of the phone — and I can’t manage to get it to stop “acting up.” I will admit it is a very sturdy phone and I like the weight of it, but I’m getting a different phone this time.
DO NOT EVER EVER EVER get this phone. the touch screen pushes buttons you don’t even touch, which has made me send text messages that i really did not want to send. It shuts off by itself several times a day. It freezes. And now my phone has a white screen that won’t go away. My phone rings when i have a txt message, call, or im, but it still shows the white screen. And it sucks because it doesn’t have a sim card so say goodbye to all your pictures and contacts.
DO NOT buy this phone. Screen blacks out intermittent — and now permanent. Took it in several times for repair, but couldn’t “replicate” the problem for the tech. Now it’s nothing but black screen – one month outside the warranty. I now own TWO very expensive paper weights! anyone have suggestions for repair?
i agree with kara i have had 5 of these phones to they are terriable i try to txt and i can’t cuz it touches stuff one time it went on the internent and charged us money for it i went to the store many times and all they have done is replace the phone it doesn’t work don’t get it!!
i have had this phone for a wile now, and i love how small and cute it is. the camera isnt the best but i love love love the purple of it. very prety color. you do have to be carefull with it. buying a *rubber!Case for it is the best way to make sure you keep it lasting longer. and to EVERYBODY who is saying that the phone is shutting off when you try to reply to a message, its because the memory is full. ERASE all your messages. and it will work.
I got this phone a year and a half ago, and it’s starting to piss me off. My parents won’t let me get a new one or a replacement til our 2-year contract is up, but I do need one. It’s always had issues, and so did my mom’s (she got the white and red version). Recently, it says I have a new text all the time, so that when I actually get a text, it says ’2 new messages,’ and I have no idea who the real one is from until I open it. Sometimes it won’t let me open my messages, so I have to turn it off and on, and when I do that the screen goes white for a while. The pictures will occasionally show up as broken links, which will also force me to have to turn it on and off. And this week, the buzzer broke. It doesn’t vibrate, and when I touch the screen it doesn’t either. The newer issues have made using my phone monotonous and annoying. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, unless they rarely use their phones.
My touch screen doesn’t work half the time the verizon lady said that is a common problem with the rival also now I have the white blank screen 90 percent of the time when its not white it blurs all the writing together can her texts but cant see them and cant see who’s calling. Would not advise anyone to purchase this phone!!!

In the beginning I loved this phone.. The size of it.. The slide.. the color… It was just so cute.. But now I’m havin some problems.. It started when the screen went completely white on me.. I took it in to get another one.. Then that one went white on me also.. I took that one in and got another one.. Then I lost a charge and could not seem to be able to turn my phone back on after it would take a charge no matter how long it sat on the charger.. My boyfriend thought that I was shutting my phone off to not deal with him! This happened on me twice.. Now.. Everytime I plug my phone up for a charge.. It automatically turns my speaker phone on.. UUGhh.. I’m going to just get a whole new phone.. I am sick of this!!
I bought this fone and i think it ll be perfect wow just got it and it is awesome i love this fone and i taxts perfect so u guys that say it sucks u suck
