Verizon Offers firmware update HTC Touch Pro

It is reported that verizon has released a fireware update for htc touch pro xv6850, the firmware version 1.08 will allow applications like Google Maps to access the handset’s GPS.  Also, the upgrad will add Visual Voicemail to the Touch Pro phone, although to activate it will cost you $3 per month. And lastly, the upgraded firmware adds EVRC-B codec support which allows for calls to be handled better on the network during high-demand situations. Verizon Htc Touch Pro info
