I have had the Verizon samsung Rogue for nearly half of month, and I am using this phone mostly for personal and a little business. So far I really like the phone. Navigation is easy and the display is just beautiful! The colors are so vibrant, truly the best display I’ve ever seen. I like the setup and design of the phone, it did not take me very long to get used to it. This is very similar to the glyde, but the display is much brighter and larger, the camera is CRISP, and no lags whatsoever. very fun to use. Verizon Phone Reviews

In addtion, the samsung rogue phone‘s touchscreen is responsive compared to the previous glyde by samsung, and smartly turns off while you are on the phone (unless you are on a headset). Buttons are well-placed, and The QWERTY keyboard has a great feel. It’s very sturdy and responsive. The buttons don’t “click” when you push them: it’s silent.
As far as what I do not like, you have to know that I am coming from a Palm Centro so losing the ability to sync my calendar has to be the worst so far. I am hoping someone will create an app that will work on my Mac or PC so that I can have a backup and not have to do double entry. Also, the battery has so far not lasted anywhere near as long as stated. After a full charge and an overnight standby it only lasted, maximum, 90 minutes of talking. I am hoping this was unusual because I could go for days without charging my Centro and then be on the phone for 2 hours without a problem. We shall see…I would highly recommend this phone to anybody looking for a touch screen phone.

Excellent review … very good cell phone!
Already been involved in mobile communications as an RF engineer since 1982 when I worked for Motorola. Had Blackberrys for the previous eight years or so, but just pre ordered a Samsung Vibrant from T-mobile. Want some new capabilities as well as a new Operating system to play with. I’m disappointed that Tmobile has switched away from the wifi hotspot feature in the Samsung Vibrant, but I am sure somebody will figure out just how to root it as well as add the feature back again in. I am now having a wifi only iPad and want to wirelessly tether it to the phone. Looking forward to getting my new phone!
As of now does verizon still cell this phone?
I have this phone and it is HORRIBLE… everyone I know that has it has had problems with it… the touch screen quit working and when that goes you can’t do anything with it. I’m stuck with this phone til 11/11/11 and i can’t wait to get rid of it.
