Verizon Samsung Rouge’s Features and Release date

The user guide for Verizon Samsung Rouge‘s emergence confirms that it  it will really come to verizon with  Widgets, a 3MP camera and 3.5mm headset jack. But we don’t make sure its display is TFT or AMOLED. In addtion, it’s expected to see this replacement of glyde on August 15th.  Unfortunately, we still don’t know how much it will cost. Update: Samsung Rouge misses from Verizon‘s August rebate form( August 2nd through September 7th), which may mean that Verizon won’t release the Rouge on August 15th as anticipated. Of course, we don’t confirmwhether this is true, as Verizon could always “update” the form later (we’ve seen this happen in the past).

Update: EngadgetMobile has offers the detailed for Samsung Rogue’s specs. We are told it will offer solid features and will be good competition to the LG enV Touch, featuring with 3.1″ diagonal 480×800 pixel resolution AMOLED resistive touchscreen display with 262K color support. And as well as it alsocomes with a 3MP autofocus camera with flash, 4-row sliding QWERTY keyboard, advanced on-screen widgets, 1000 entry phonebook, Bluetooth, HTML browser, EVDO Rev A, 3.5mm headset jack, 16GB microSDHC support, and is capable of VCast Music & Video, Visual Voice Mail, and VZ Navigator. Dimensions are listed as 4.29″H x 2.17″W x 0.65″D and with a weight of 4.94oz (including battery). Talk time is 4.7 hours.

In addtion, the Sep 8 release date is also confirmed, and the Rogue will cost $99.99 after $100 rebate with 2-year contract, $169.99 after $100 rebate with 1-year contract, and $419.99 full retail. More to the point, if you don’t activate the Rogue on a Connect or Premium plan (which includes unlimited data), that you’ll have to buy a new type of data plan.
